Our Story

From the Heart of India to the Homes of America

My journey began in India, where I was born and raised surrounded by rich culture, craftsmanship, and community. In 1993, I immigrated to the United States, carrying with me a deep connection to my roots. That connection led me to my first venture importing and selling gemstones and gemstone beads, a trade that kept me close to the artisans and makers I had always admired.

Everything changed on a recent trip to Jaipur. A young boy approached me, trying to sell a beautifully quilted bag. Curious, I asked about his family. His parents, he told me, made these bags and quilted accessories by hand at home a labor of love, crafted with skill passed down through generations, with only a few specialized steps outsourced when necessary.

Something about that moment stayed with me. I saw not just a product, but a story a family's livelihood, their pride, their craft. I decided to join hands with them.

I introduced their work to a well-known importer and wholesaler in Atlanta, who immediately recognized the quality and beauty of what this family created. They became the backbone of our company, consuming everything we could produce and giving us the foundation to grow.

By the grace of God, we now have our own small manufacturing unit with 10 full-time employees. But our mission has never changed: to build a legacy by uplifting families like Dilshad's talented, hardworking people whose craftsmanship deserves to be seen and celebrated by the world.

When you purchase from Heirloomworks, you are not just buying a product. You are becoming part of a story of heritage, hope, and human connection.

Thank you for being here.
